HOMES 4 FAMILIES FOCUS IS BUILDING THE VETERAN ENRICHED NEIGHBORHOODS(R) MODEL WHICH OFFERS AFFORDABLE, FULL-EQUITY HOMEOWNERSHIP FOR LOW-INCOME VETERANS IN VETERAN-SPECIFIC COMMUNITIES, LEVERAGING THE EXISTING PEER-TO-PEER SUPPORT AMONG MILITARY FAMILIES, ALONG WITH WRAP-AROUND SERVICES THAT ARE MOST PREDICTIVE OF UPWARD MOBILITY AND WELL-BEING.WE SERVE VETERANS AND MILITARY FAMILIES BETWEEN 40-99% OF THE HUD AREA MEDIAN INCOME. THESE INDIVIDUALS OFTEN DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES TO PURCHASE, MAINTAIN, REPAIR, OR MODIFY THEIR HOME TO ACCOMODATE ANY DISABILITIES; LEADING TO UNDUE STRESS, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE RISING HOMELESS VETERAN POPULATION. OUR VETERAN HOMEOWNERS PAY A $100 DOWN PAYMENT, ARE PROVIDED WITH A BELOW-MARKET-RATE MORTGAGE, WITH ADDITIONAL PURCHASE ASSISTANCE AT 0% INTEREST, AND PAY NO MORE THAN 35% OF THEIR MONTHLY INCOME TOWARDS HOUSING

HOMES FOR FAMILIES EMPOWERS LOW-INCOME VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO ENTER THE MIDDLE CLASS THROUGH AFFORDABLE, FULL-EQUITY HOMEOWNERSHIP, AND SUSTAINABLE HOUSING COMBINED WITH HOLISTIC SERVICES THAT BUILD RESILIENCY, SELF-SIFFICIENCY, AND ECONOMIC GROWTH. THROUGH THE OUTCOME-PROVEN VETERAN ENRICHED NEIGHBORHOOD (R) MODEL, HOMES FOR FAMILIES PROVIDES SERVICE MEMBERS, VETERANS, AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH COMPREHENSIVE WRAP-AROUND SERVICES THAT EQUIP THEM TO SUCCEED IN CIVILIAN LIFE, INCLUDING FINANCIAL EDUCATION, THERAPEUTIC TRAUMA-INFORMED WORKSHOPS, SERVICES FOR MILITARY CHILDREN, AND VETERAN-TO-VETERAN SUPPORT. THROUGH CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND ONGOING OUTCOME RESEARCH. THIS MODEL IS BOTH PROVEN, EXPANDED, AND IMPROVED ON AN ONGOING BASIS IN RESPONSE TO EMERGING VETERAN NEEDS.
