Exhibitions - The Museum presents a range of art exhibitions annually, addressing a wide spectrum of artists, artistic media, time periods and styles, all of which reflect diversity and excellence in the visual arts.
Education - The Museum's education programs provide visitors with opportunities to have meaningful experiences with original works of art. Lectures, tours, classes, camps, outreach, catalogues, interpretive text panels, audio tours, handouts, in-gallery materials, videos and teacher education enhance exhibitions and meet the learning needs of people of all ages and abilities.
Art Collection - Boise Art Museum is the only nationally accredited collecting art museum in Idaho that actively collects and conserves visual art. The Museum has a growing collection of more than 4,000 art objects comprised of modern and contemporary American art including artists from Idaho and the Northwest, as well as Asian and African art.
