Organizations Filed Purposes: The purposes for which St.Vincent Health, Inc. was organized are exclusively charitable, religious, scientific or educational within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) the Internal Revenue code of 1986, as amended (the "Code"). Further, St.Vincent Health, Inc. is organized and at all times shall be operated exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, and to carry out the purposes of its sponsored organizations, all of which are Indiana nonprofit corporations which are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code and any other organization which qualified for exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) and is described in Sections 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) of the code and are operating, supervised, or controlled by or in connection with St.Vincent Health, Inc., to advance their respective tax-exempt purposes.

In fiscal year 2014, St.Vincent Health, Inc.'s Corporate Office provided community benefit of $6,081,536 consisting of unbilled services provided to the poor and broader community. See Schedule O for a non-exhaustive list of community benefit and community building programs and descriptions.
