THE PRINCIPALS TRAINING CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL LEADERSHIP (PTC) IS A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CURRENT AND ASPIRING PRINCIPALS AND SCHOOL LEADERS WORKING IN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. MOST PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED AS SEVEN-DAY TRAINING SESSIONS IN JUNE AND JULY. IN ADDITION, THE TEACHERS TRAINING CENTER (TTC) AND THE COUNSELOR TRAINING CENTER (CTC) OFFER FIVE-DAY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS FOR TEACHERS, TEACHER LEADERS AND COUNSELORS EACH JUNE AND JULY, TO ASSIST IN IMPROVING THEIR PERFORMANCE AND EFFECTIVENESS. THE TTC ALSO OFFERS TWO-DAY INTENSE WORKSHOPS EACH FALL AND SPRING FOR TEACHER LEADERS FROM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS. A NEWER PROGRAN NOW OFFERS ENGLISH AS AN ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE (EAL) INSTRUCTORS THREE-MONTH ONLINE SESSIONS IN THE FALL AND SPRING. ALL THESE WORKSHOPS ARE DESIGNED USING CAREFULLY RESEARCHED AND CURRENT CURRICULUM DEVELOPED BY PTC TO ENSURE THE BEST OUTCOMES FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATORS, SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS AND IMPROVE THE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE WORLDWIDE.

NEWSPAPER PUBLISHING AND WEBSITE - TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ABOUT INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH PUBLICATION OF A NEWSPAPER (THE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATOR) AND MAINTENANCE OF A WEBSITE FOR INDIVIDUALS SUCH AS TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS OF INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS WHO NEED TO KEEP INFORMED ABOUT THEIR PROFESSION AND SHARE IDEAS AND EXPERIENCES OF EDUCATION OVERSEAS. WE ALSO FEATURE LISTINGS OF HUNDREDS OF TEACHING AND ADMINISTRATION EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, CONFERENCES, ETC.

GRANT TO CHILDREN OF HAITI AND REFUGEE PROJECTS, INC (COHRP) - THIS WAS A GRANT MADE BY OVERSEAS SCHOOLS ASSISTANCE CORPORATION (OSAC) TO A WHOLLY CONTROLLED AFFILIATE TO CONTINUE OSAC'S WORK SUPPORTING REFUGEE CHILDREN N A MANNER THAT HAS AN ENHANCED CAPACITY AND POTENTIAL FOR FUNDRAISING. A WRITTEN GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN OSAC AND COHRP ECTABLISHES THE ACTIVITIES AND PURPOSES THAT FUNDING FROM OSAC MAY BE USED TO SUPPORT. THE PURPOSE OF THE GRANT TO COHRP IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN IN HAITI. THIS WILL ENABLE COHRP TO CONTINUE THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM INITIATED BY OSAC IN 2010, IN RESPONSE TO THE EFFECTS OF THE DEVASTATION CAUSED BY THE EARTHQUALE OF JANUARY 12, 2010. OSAC OPENED THIS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IN MAY 2010 WITH 51 STUDENTS AGED 4-5 YEARS OLD. IN ADDITION TO EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE, THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES NUTRITIONAL AND HEALTH SUPPORT. COHRP HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED BY THE IRS AS A PBULICLY SUPPORTED CHARITY DESCRIBED IN IRC 501(C)(3).
