Catholic Volunteer Network (CVN) is a national association of Christian volunteer and mission programs. CVN is a leader in promoting domestic and international faith-based service to people of all backgrounds, ages and skills. CVN provide our member programs with resources to effectively fulfill their missions.

From Service to Sisterhood- a program that seeks to strengthen the vitality of congregations of women religious through the development of volunteer programs. In fiscal year 2015, CVN hosted the "From Service to Sisterhood Symposium", a gathering of leaders of congregations of women religious, directors of volunteer programs, former volunteers and other key partners to further discuss the connection between volunteerism and vocations. CVN awarded grants under this program to various women's religious congregations seeking to launch their own volunteer programs. In addition to the grants, CVN will continue to nurture these new volunteer programs through ongoing support and collaboration.
Recruitment - CVN recruits volunteers for domestic and international service within its member programs. It does this through its annual directory of service opportunities, its website, and by traveling to more than 100 colleges and universities for volunteer fairs. Such recruitment benefits thousands of people in need who are served by these volunteers. In addition, CVN recruits volunteer programs for membership in the organization. Currently, CVN has about 200 members across the U.S.
Member services - Provide member programs and others interested in promoting volunteer service the opportunity to come together and to learn more effective ways of operating volunteer programs and fostering the role of laity in mission.
