SAINT MARY'S UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA IS A PRIVATE, CATHOLIC INSTITUTION OFFERING COMPREHENSIVE UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS. OVER 1,000 STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED IN THE RESIDENTIAL UNDERGRADUATE COLLEGE AT THE WINONA CAMPUS, ESTABLISHED IN 1912. OVER THE COURSE OF A YEAR, MORE THAN 6,000 STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED IN THE SCHOOLS OF GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS (SGPP), WHICH OFFERS CERTIFICATES, BACHELOR AND SPECIALIST PROGRAMS, MASTERS DEGREES AND DOCTORAL PROGRAMS. THE UNIVERSITY DELIVERS EDUCATION TO ITS ADULT LEARNERS THROUGH CAMPUSES IN MINNEAPOLIS; WINONA, NAIROBI, KENYA; AND ROCHESTER; AND AT NUMEROUS OTHER LOCATIONS IN MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN AND JAMAICA INCLUDING ONLINE. SAINT MARY'S IS ACCREDITED BY THE HIGHER LEARNING COMMISSION AND IS A MEMBER OF THE NORTH CENTRAL ASSOCIATION.

INSTRUCTION AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT:SAINT MARY'S UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA HAS TWO PRIMARY ACADEMIC UNITS: THE COLLEGE AND THE SCHOOLS OF GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS (SGPP). THE COLLEGE CONSISTS OF THE TRADITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE BACHELOR OF ARTS EXPERIENCE BASED ON THE WINONA CAMPUS. THE SGPP INCLUDES CONTINUING EDUCATION OFFERINGS, CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE COMPLETION PROGRAMS, MASTER'S PROGRAMS, AN EDUCATION SPECIAL PROGRAM AND THREE DOCTORAL PROGRAMS. THE SGPP IS BASED ON BOTH THE TWIN CITIES AND WINONA CAMPUSES, WITH A CENTER IN ROCHESTER. ACROSS THE 12-MONTH 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR THE COLLEGE ENROLLED 1,111 STUDENTS AND OFFERED 32,314 INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITY CREDIT HOURS. THE SGPP ENROLLED 5,855 STUDENTS ACROSS THE 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR AND OFFERED 65,297 INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITY CREDIT HOURS. THE UNIVERSITY EXPECTS TO MAINTAIN ENROLLMENT AT SGPP IN 2020-2021, SERVING APPROXIMATELY 5,800 STUDENTS AND DELIVERING APPROXIMATELY 65,000 CREDIT HOURS. THE UNIVERSITY OFFERS 46 MAJORS WITH THE BACHELOR OF ARTS PROGRAM. THE UNIVERSITY OFFERS AN ADDITIONAL 58 PROGRAMS WITHIN THE SGPP.

STUDENT SERVICES:IN 2019-2020, 358 TRADITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (ABOUT 30% OF THAT POPULATION) PARTICIPATED IN 17 NCAA DIVISION III SPORTS OFFERED AT SAINT MARY'S UNIVERSITY. PARTICIPATION IN INTRAMURAL ACTIVITIES ANNUALLY IS MORE THAN 40%. THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE PROCESSED $68,884,699 IN LOANS, GRANTS, WORK STUDY AND SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE ENTIRE UNIVERSITY IN 2019-2020. 12% OF TRADITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS WERE FORMALLY REGISTERED AS STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES WITH THE INSTITUTION'S OFFICE OF DISABILITY SERVICES, THE MAJORITY OF WHICH UTILIZED SERVICES OFFERED BY THE UNIVERSITY. 128 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED AT THE UNIVERSITY IN 2019-2020. THIRTY STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE FIRST GENERATION INITIATIVE PROGRAM, WHICH OFFERS SELECTED STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND THE UNIVERSITY. THE STUDENTS ENGAGE IN SPECIAL SUPPORT ACTIVITIES WHICH INCLUDE STUDY HALLS, SPECIALIZED ADVISING AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES WHICH PROMOTE RETENTION AND STUDENT SUCCESS.

AUXILIARY SERVICES:SAINT MARYS' UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA OFFERS ITS WINONA UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS HOUSING, FOOD, AND OTHER SERVICES. LIVING ON CAMPUS MEANS BEING PART OF A CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITY, AND CREATING FRIENDSHIPS AND CONNECTIONS THAT LAST A LIFETIME. TWELVE RESIDENCE HALLS ARE LOCATED ON OUR BEAUTIFUL WINONA CAMPUS, SURROUNDED BY 390 ACRES OF WOODED BLUFFS AND TRAILS. THESE HALLS OFFER STUDENTS A VARIETY OF TRADITIONAL, SUITE, AND APARTMENT-STYLE OPTIONS. SAINT MARYS' UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA OFFERS THREE CONVENIENT ON-CAMPUS DINING OPTIONS, EACH PROVIDING HEALTHY, HIGH QUALITY FOOD, BEVERAGES, AND SNACKS. THREE FACILITIES SERVE STUDENTS INCLUDING THE TONER STUDENT CENTER DINING HALL, CARDINAL CAFE, AND CARDINAL COFFEE. SEVERAL MEAL PLANS ARE TAILORED TO MEET EACH STUDENT'S NEEDS AND SCHEDULES. THE DINING SERVICES ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS AND HAVE TAKEN MANY STEPS TO REDUCE WASTE. STUDENTS CAN ALSO UTILIZE A NEW MARKET, WHICH CONTAINS A VARIETY OF CONVENIENT SNACKS AND BEVERAGES.
