PRODUCTION OF LIVE THEATRE

UNDER THE DIRECTION OF EXECUTIVE ARTISTIC PRODUCER, MARC ROBIN, THE FULTON PRODUCES THEATRE IN A THREE SERIES MODEL. THE MAIN STAGE SERIES ENCOMPASSES SIX LARGER-SCALE PLAYS FEATURED IN THE BUILDING'S HISTORIC AUDITORIUM. "THE GROFF SERIES," THE THEATRE'S INTIMATE AND PROVOCATIVE STUDIO BLACK BOX SERIES, IS COMPRISED OF FOUR PLAYS. LASTLY, THE THEATRE PRODUCES FOUR CHILD-FRIENDLY, HOUR-LONG THEATRE FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES PLAYS AS PART OF THE "EICHMANN FAMILY SERIES." IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR, THE THEATRE ENTERTAINED OVER 160,000 PATRONS.

EDUCATION AND OUTREACH: THE THEATRE HAS A ROBUST EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAM WHICH TOUCHED THE LIVES OF OVER 17,800 PEOPLE IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR. THE FULTON'S PAY-WHAT-YOU-WILL PROGRAM, PRESENTED ON THE FIRST DAY OF PREVIEWS DURING A SHOW'S RUN, REACHED OVER 1,500 PEOPLE. FULTON ACADEMY INSPIRES LOCAL STUDENTS WITH ITS PROGRAMMING, THEREBY PRESERVING THE FUTURE OF THEATRE ARTS IN THE LANCASTER CITY, COUNTY, AND BEYOND. FULTON ACADEMY IS COMMITTED TO INCLUSIVITY OF STUDENTS OF ALL ABILITIES AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS. THE ACADEMY PROVIDES RESOURCES TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE ALL MEDICAL AND LEARNING CONCERNS AND DISABILITIES AS WELL AS SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TO THOSE FAMILIES WHO DEMONSTRATE A STRONG FINANCIAL NEED AND A COMMITMENT TO FULTON THEATRE. ADDITIONALLY, THE THEATRE CONDUCTS NEIGHBORHOOD BRIDGES, A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED CRITICAL LITERACY PROGRAM WHERE TEACHING ARTISTS ENGAGE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH STORYTELLING, THEATRE, DANCE, PUPPETRY AND CREATIVE WRITING. IN FISCAL YEAR 2019, OVER 6,000 KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE STUDENTS WERE SERVED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM. FINALLY, THE FULTON ALSO REACHES LANCASTER COUNTY STUDENTS THROUGH ITS SCHOOL-DAY MATINEE PROGRAM. APPROXIMATELY 5,750 STUDENTS AND TEACHERS ATTENDED THE SCHOOL-DAY MATINEES IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR.

RENTAL AND SET CONSTRUCTION: BUILDING SCENERY FOR OTHER THEATRICAL ORGANIZATIONS, RENTING SETS, PROPS AND COSTUMES TO GROUPS INCLUDING SCHOOLS, AND RENTING FACILITY TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
