UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF PRESIDENT AND CEO JEFFREY ROSEN, THE CENTER HAS BECOME THE LEADING FORUM FOR VIGOROUS CIVIL DIALOGUE AT OUR LIVE AMERICA'S TOWN HALL PROGRAMS AND DEBATES IN PHILADELPHIA AND ACROSS AMERICA. THESE INCLUDED A CELEBRATION OF THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF SUPREME COURT CLERKSHIPS AND RELATED ACADEMIC SYMPOSIUM WITH THE GEORGE WASHINGTON LAW REVIEW, A CONVERSATION ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM AND THE CONSTITUTION AT THE U.S. CAPITOL, AND AN EVENING WITH U.S. SUPREME COURT JUSTICE RUTH BADER GINSBURG FEATURING A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE OF RBG IN SONG. THE CENTER REGULARLY ENGAGES EXPERTS FOR MORE IN-DEPTH EXPLORATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL ISSUES. IN THE PAST YEAR IT PRESENTED SEVERAL SPECIAL PROJECTS CONVENING EXPERTS TO PRODUCE WRITTEN ACADEMIC WORK, PARTICIPATE IN PANELS, AND OTHERWISE CONTRIBUTE TO PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING. A MADISONIAN CONSTITUTION FOR ALL EXAMINES THE STATE OF AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY TODAY THROUGH THE LENS OF JAMES MADISON, WITH A FOCUS ON CONGRESS, THE PRESIDENCY, COURTS, AND THE MEDIA. THE CONSTITUTION DRAFTING PROJECT BRINGS TOGETHER THREE TEAMS OF LEADING CONSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARS-TEAM LIBERTARIAN, TEAM PROGRESSIVE, AND TEAM CONSERVATIVE-TO DRAFT AND PRESENT THEIR IDEAL CONSTITUTIONS. THE CENTER ALSO PARTNERED WITH THE ATLANTIC ON THE BATTLE FOR THE CONSTITUTION, A WEB SERIES OF ESSAYS EXPLORING THE ISSUES AND CONTROVERSIES SURROUNDING THE CONSTITUTION FEATURING DIVERSE VOICES. THROUGH SPRING 2020, NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER PARTNERED WITH THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION TO OFFER CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE) CREDITS FOR SELECT AMERICA'S TOWN HALL PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS, WHICH COULD BE ATTENDED IN PERSON ON THE NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER OR ON-DEMAND ONLINE, PROVIDED SMART, ENGAGING NONPARTISAN CONSTITUTIONAL CONVERSATIONS WHILE SERVING THE EDUCATION NEEDS OF THE LEGAL COMMUNITY ACROSS THE UNITED STATES.
