During 2019, the System's Hospital served over 4,600 inpatients including newborns and provided more than 841,000 outpatient services, the NorthPointe facility provided more than 104,000 outpatient services and the Clinics provided more than 264,000 encounters. Inpatient Revenue: Total adult admissions of 4,221 with an average daily census of 44 and an average length of stay of 3.8 days. This is in comparison to 2018 where admissions were 4,504 with an average daily census of 46 and an average length of stay of 3.7 days. Total patient days were 16,224 compared to 16,787 in 2018
Outpatient Revenue: Total Hospital and NorthPointe outpatient procedures for 2019 were just over 945,000 compared to just over 891,000 in 2018. Total Physician Clinic encounters were just over 264,000, an increase from 237,000 in 2018, mainly due to physician recruitment.
