Organizations Filed Purposes:
Rescue and rehome bully breed dogs in the State of Alaska. Also to provide safe housing until the animals can be placed in a verified home. Additionalyt public education will be provided regarding the importance of vaccinations and spay/neuter benefits.
Rescue - We take in and rescue dogs that are surrendered, stray or have medical needs that are abandoned. Money is spent on both medical expenses for the dogs, as well as rescue fees and supplies until a suitable home is found.
Educate - We educate people about the breed and the importance of spaying and neutering pets to control pet population. We also educate on the value of microchipping, vaccinating, tagging and registering them with the municipality. This is done mainly through social media, meetings regarding dogs in rescue, and any fundraising events.
Adopt - We have an excellent success rate with adoptions due to the hours spent by our volunteers reviewing applications to ensure the possible home is suitable. This includes background checks and home inspections. We have a meet and greet with dogs and potential adoptions and then allow a 10 day trial period to make sure the fit is right for both family and dog.
