Organizations Filed Purposes:
To partner with AK Department of Corrections providing ministry and programs for change in lives of inmates and ex-offenders
Chaplaincy services, pastoral care, religious programs and materials for incarcerated Alaskans, providing chaplains, worship services, Bible teaching discipleship, spiritual counseling, recovery and prayer groups, music drama and special speakers and teachers. Annually 120-170 prisoners mentored.
Safe living re-entry homes: ACM own (2) residential properties, one for me and one for women. Both of these homes provide safe and healthy faith-fased re-entry assistance and housing for recently released offenders into the community.Funding: Grants, donations, housing subsidies and from resident income from those who have jobs.
Two transformational living community programs operating in two prisons. One TLC for men and one for women housed in Highland Mountain Correctional Center and Anchorage Correctional Comples. Both are 12-18 month intensive faith-fased therapeutic communities that address issies and life-controlling problems and addictions as well as crininal thinking errors. These programs utilize around 175-200 volunteers from the community who mentor the participants with a faith-fased curriculum. This is done both in prison and as they re-enter the community.
