Organizations Filed Purposes:
We primarily facilitate Christian mission and social work activity in Alaska through the use of volunteers. We manage the logistic and ministry for visiting church teams, school groups and individuals.
Our work was drastically affected in 2020 due to Covid. GraceWorks hosted about 101 volunteers serving in 2020. In addition to our annual Spring Iditarod Mission, in the summer we worked in 6 local public parks and mobile home parks five days a week. We purchased and gave out thousands of dollars of food to families in need. We gave out 12,455 free lunches to people and hundreds of boxes of food. We worked very closely with local church partners this year.
Overseas. This year due to Covid-19 we were unable to take teams to Romania. Instead we sent gifts of 46,425 to local Romanian church workers to aid with Covid Relief and help Romanian pastors and their families in need.
