Organizations Filed Purposes:
Renewable Alaska Energy Project's mission is to educate Alaskans about the benefits of renewable energy and to increase the production of renewable energy in Alaska. REAP actively promotes renewable energy, developing a market in Alaska for renewable energy, and increasing energy efficiency.

This program includes the Alaska Network for Energy Education and Employment, the Sustainable Southeast Partnership, the Islanded Grid Resource Center, and the Alaska Wind Working Group.
STEM Education - REAPs STEM Education program directly reached K-12 students via classroom visits to teach science, technology, engineering, and math through the use of clean energy. Further efforts include teacher trainings, extracurricular camps and competitions, and individualized programs and kits. This program includes work with the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation to enact the AK Energy Smart curriculum, the Wind for Schools curriculum, and work supported by the Office of Naval Research.
Advocacy and Outreach - REAPs advocacy and outreach program strives to reach and educate Alaskas energy decision makers along with the general public to promote energy literacy and ultimately lead to informed choices about Alaskas energy future. This program includes advocacy work surrounding Railbelt grid reform and green banks, and outreach efforts such as the Energy Speaker Series and presentations to a wide variety of groups.
