Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Center's operations include providing congregate and home delivered nutrition services, transportation, recreational activities, referral services and adult day care services to senior citizens. The Center owns and operates 20 assisted living apartments, 20 HUD low-income senior apartments, and 42 independent living senior apartments.
Independent Living Apartments and Assisted Living - The Center manages 42 independent residential units and 20 assisted living units in the Senior Complex under an agreement with the Municipality of Anchorage.
Meals and Restaurant Program This program provides both dine-in and home deliveredlunches five times per week partially funded with grant funds from federal and statesources, as well as breakfast, dinner and weekend meals funded by users. Both seniors and non-seniors utilize this program.
Health Care Outreach - The center staffs a licensed nurse to provide services to senior clients both at the center and in the community. Types of services provided include client education, preventative care, wellness clinics and community liaison and outreach. This position is funded by the Municipality of Anchorage Grant.
