OUR PROJECTS ADDRESS POLICIES, MARKET OPPORTUNITIES AND THE AGING OF ALASKA'S FISHING FLEET, AND SUPPORT FOR NEW FISHERMEN THROUGH THE ALASKA YOUNG FISHERMEN'S NETWORK.
CATCH 49 - AMCC SERVES ALASKA FISHERMEN AND CONSUMERS BY BRINGING SEAFOOD CAUGHT BY LOCAL, SMALL-BOAT ENVIRONMENTALLY MINDED FISHERMEN TO RESIDENTS IN ALASKA. THIS PROGRAM HELPS INCREASE THE CONSUMERS' ACCESS TO HEALTHY LOCAL FOOD ALL WHILE STRENGTHENING LOCAL FOOD SYSTEMS.
