Our mission is to support Central Peninsula residents by seeking innovative partnerships and creating resources for the health and wellness of our communities.
The foundation provided monetary funds to the Heritage Place long-term care facility for activity supplies such as patio umbrellas and craft supplies for projects to occupy the residents during their COVID-19 induced lockdown. Other expenses consisted of sound system installation for the residential bus and interior signage.
The foundation sponsors and holds funds for the Internal Medicine Residency program funded by Premera Blue Cross to recruit internists to practice in rural areas of the state.
The foundation sponsors and holds funds for Serenity House, a chemical dependency unit of Central Peninsula Hospital, which is supported through prevention grants and client resources funds. Prevention activities include community canvassing and assessment, a podcast program, and awareness campaigns. Client resources are used to provide transportation, therapeutic materials, and personal items necessary to make the stay of patients more comfortable as they receive chemical dependency treatment.
