Fishing: CBSFA St. Paul Fishing Company, LLC - THIS PROGRAM DEVELOPS INFRASTRUCTURE AND INVESTMENTS IN PROJECTS THAT SUPPORT FISHERIES BASED IN ST. PAUL. Expenses related to this program are included in Cost of Goods Sold on Part VIII. 170 DEGREES WEST - This program is operated to maximize the ex-vessel price paid to local fishermen. 170 Degrees West purchases CDQ Halibut from the local fleet, then has it custom processed through a negotiated contract with a local processor. The product is then marketed through a marketing agreement with a distributor. Net revenue is distributed to the local fleet through a retroactive ex-vessel price adjustment. Revenue and Expenses related to this program are included in Sales of Inventory on Part VIII. Vehicle & Equipment Operations - This program was formed to manage, maintain, and operate equipment. Annually the department puts in and removes the docks in the small boat harbor. The department also helps load and unload container ships that come to port. CBSFA has acquired numerous pieces of equipment, most notably a Manitowoc crane and a Grove Crane, to support its fishing operations. Revenue and Expenses related to this program are included in Sales of Inventory on Part VIII.

Education, Outreach & Assistance: This program provides scholarships, training grants, and student loans for the residents of St. Paul Island to further their education. It funds educational programs and curriculum provided by other local entities. This program also provides outreach to the community of St. Paul via newsletters, radio announcements, website, community surveys, and annual meetings. The assistance fund provides financial support for community wellness, bereavement, and local volunteer operations. The program also provides support for the Tribal Government of St. Paul Island programs.
