Organizations Filed Purposes:
TOURS OF HOUSE, FIRST LADIES GARDEN, AND EXHIBITS IN 2019. CLINTON HOUSE MUSEUM HAD 5,100 VISITORS WITH APPROXIMATELY 75% OF GUESTS FROM OUTSIDE ARKANSAS, AND 10% OF THOSE GUESTS ARE INTERNATIONAL. WE DO NOT CHARGE ADMISSION FEES BUT INSTEAD REQUEST DONATIONS. IN 2019 WE HOSTED A SUCCESSFUL EXHIBIT ENTITLED "1968: A FOLSOM REDEMPTION," A PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBIT OF ARKANSAS NATIVE JOHNNY CASH'S FAMOUS CONCERT AT FOLSOM PRISON.
THROUGH FIELD TRIPS, GROUP TOURS, SPEAKER SERIES EVENTS, AND DAY CAMP, THE MUSEUM HOSTED APPROXIMATELY 300 STUDENTS AND GUESTS. WE WORK WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE TOURS AND FIELD TRIPS WITH CURRICULUM THAT MATCHES STATE CURRICULUM STANDARDS IN ARKANSAS HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, AND CIVICS FOR A VARIETY OF AGE GROUPS AND SKILL LEVELS. OUR SPECIAL EVENTS IN 2019 CONSISTED OF A SERIES OF SIX HISTORY HAPPY HOURS, WITH EACH EVENT HAVING A FOCUS ON LOCAL HISTORY OR HISTORICAL EVENTS.
