ARKANSAS EARLY LEARNING, INC.'S MISSION IS BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY BY EMPOWERING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THEIR SUCCESS.ARKANSAS EARLY LEARNING, INC. WAS ESTABLISHED TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF "AT RISK" CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. ONE OF OUR CORE BELIEFS IS THAT EVERYONE, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES, DESERVES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A BETTER LIFE. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND OTHER FAMILY SERVICES TO THE MOST VULNERABLE FAMILIES THROUGH THE ACQUISITION OF GRANT FUNDING COUPLED WITH THE GENEROSITY OF COMMUNITY CITIZENS, BUSINESSES, AND VOLUNTEERS.

EARLY CHILDCARE EDUCATION:HEAD START PROGRAM - HEAD START SUPPORTS THE MENTAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN FROM AGE 3 TO 5. IN ADDITION TO EDUCATION SERVICES THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH HEALTH, NUTRITION, SOCIAL AND OTHER SERVICES. SERVICES ARE RESPONSIVE TO EACH FAMILY'S ETHNIC, CULTURAL, AND LINGUISTIC HERITAGE.THE ORGANIZATION CURRENTLY OPERATES IN 16 LOCATIONS IN ARKANSAS, INCLUDING 8 PARTNERSHIP LOCATIONS.EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM - THE EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM SERVES PREGNANT WOMEN, INFANTS, AND TODDLERS. EARLY HEAD START PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE FAMILY UNTIL THE CHILD TURNS 3 YEARS OLD AND IS READY TO TRANSITION INTO HEAD START OR ANOTHER PRE-K PROGRAM. EARLY HEAD START HELPS FAMILIES CARE FOR THEIR INFANTS AND TODDLERS THROUGH EARLY, CONTINUOUS, INTENSIVE, AND COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES. LIKE THE HEAD START PROGRAM, EARLY HEAD START BEGINS TO SUPPORT THE MENTAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF ENROLLED CHILDREN. IN ADDITION TO EDUCATION SERVICES, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH HEALTH, NUTRITION, SOCIAL, AND OTHER SERVICES. EARLY HEAD START SERVICES ARE RESPONSIVE TO EACH CHILD AND FAMILY'S ETHNIC, CULTURAL, AND LINGUISTIC HERITAGE.
FOOD PROGRAM:THROUGH THE CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM ARKANSAS EARLY LEARNING, INC. PROVIDES BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND SNACKS TO CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE ORGANIZATION'S HEAD START PROGRAM.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES:HEALTH, NUTRITION, SOCIAL AND OTHER SERVICES WHICH SUPPORT PARTICIPANTS AND FAMILIES INCLUDED IN THE ORGANIZATION'S HEAD START AND EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM.
