The Northeast Arkansas Childrens Advocacy Center provides a child appropriate, safe setting for children to tell their story of abuse.
All children were offered trauma focused mental health therapy and the NEA CAC worked with local health providers; Midsouth Health Systems, Life Strategies Inc (LSCI) and other caring mental health agencies in northeast Arkansas if mental health services could not be offered at the NEA CAC. Over 4,900 reports were accepted by the child abuse hotline for our coverage area alone to be investigated by the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division.
