CHANGING LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT.

Goodwills mission is primarily supported by revenue from the sale of donated goods in our 33 stores across the state. Over one-half of our locations have onsite career coaches who help job seekers find their next great job. Goodwill has helped thousands of people with disabilities and disadvantages secure part-time or full-time employment with earnings that meet or exceed minimum wage. The average wage for people placed in jobs in FY 2018 is $10.86, but salaries for persons placed in jobs range from $8.50 TO $32.69 per hour. Goodwill is a CARF-accredited organization designed to serve individuals with the most significant disabilities. Our organization supports several programs across the State of Arkansas that range from youth and family services to reentry and support services for job seekers and have changed the lives of thousands of Arkansans each year.

In FY 2018, Goodwill served 19,247 people and placed 6,375 people in employment. Our intensive programs continue to have great success, especially regarding job placement and retention for programs for persons with disabilities (90%) and transitional employment (80%) success rate. Our programs include free financial coaching and a trade school entitled The Academy at Goodwill with industry-inspired courses leading to a certification or credential.

Goodwills Transitional Employment Opportunity (TEO) program offers job readiness training and job placement services for people after incarceration to help them find work, launch careers and rebuild lives. Through the TEO program, Goodwill offers an environment that supports individuals who are at least 18 years old with non-violent and non-sexual criminal offenses who want to reintegrate into the community and make positive contributions.
