Organizations Filed Purposes:
To improve and support the quality of life for the greater Marshallese Communities by improving access to and reducing barriers to healthcare, education, communication and justice
PI-Diabetes Prevention Program - Successfully enrolled 250 participants in the program, with over 60% met their goal (lost 5-7% of weight by the end of the year-long program)
Financial Literacy Education Program - Successfully enrolled over 1,000 Marshallese community members in finances education (banking, credit, savings and more). The success of the program allowed the organization to move into development of an Asset program that is culturally relevant.
One-Stop-Shop program received over 10,000 visits a year. Through the Shop, direct services were offered to the community. Services that were basic and essential to the quality of lives - RMI Passport renewals, Drivers License Class in the language, immigration documentation, translation services, connecting families to resources and more.
