Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of the Alhambra Educational Foundation is to support and enhance the educational programs of the Alhambra Unified School district. AEF is the partner of the District, and the only nonprofit group that provides programming and enrichment opportunities to benefit all 18 schools and all our students,K-12.
THE FOUNDATION SPONSORED A SUMMER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM FOR ALHAMBRA SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS. WE WORKED TO CREATE A PROGRAM APPROPRIATE FOR MEETING THE NEEDS OF OUR K-8 and HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THE SUMMER SCHOOL OFFERED CLASSES THAT WERE ACADEMICALLY CHALLENGING AND CAN BE USED TO MEET HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ALHAMBRA SCHOOL DISTRICT. SOME CLASSES MEET UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AND CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS AS WELL. WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 750 STUDENTS OVER A SIX WEEKS SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM.
