PP Advocates Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Our mission is to preserve and broaden access to reproductive health care through legislation, public education, and electoral activity.
Planned Parenthood Advocates Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley (PP Advocates) is the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley.
Educate: Through community organizing, fundraising and grassroots strength, we organize people, mobilize power and stand with communities and groups to take action and ensure an informed electorate. We mobilize a strong network of grassroots supporters and build leadership to sustain the movement for access to reproductive health provided by Planned Parenthood health centers and other providers throughout Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. We work to ensure that abortion remains a safe and legal medical procedure and actively work to dismantle abortion stigma.
Elect: PP Advocates works to introduce and support legislation that protects and expands reproductive health care services, accurate sexual health education, and reproductive rights, and to defeat legislation that restricts access to care or reproductive choice.
