To represent its members with their employers, and to be the exclusive representative of appropriate bargaining units of school employees of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District in all matters related to employment conditions and employer-employee relations. At year end the Association had approximately 1,070 members.
Employment, maintain membership data, information about services available CTA/NEA/APLE, newsletter, legislative updates, (local, state, national)school board activities, promote advancement of education.Collective bargaining/grievance-negotiate work standards and salaries with Placentia Yorba Linda USD and school board. Survey unit members, representation for grievances, enhance professional stature. Bargaining team stipends.Conference/workshops/meetings, training members for leadership roles, specific professional areas, representative duties, understating rights. Ex Bd and Rep council, award banquets and retirement celebrations.
