Organizations Filed Purposes:
TO STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IN KERN COUNTY AND ASSIST SURVIVORS IN RECLAIMING THEIR LIVES.
THE ALLIANCE OPERATES A SHELTER FOR BATTERED WOMEN INCLUDING FOOD, HOUSING AND SECURITY. WE PROVIDE COUNSELING SERVICES FOR BATTERED WOMEN, CHILDREN AND THEIR ASSAILANTS. 24 HOUR ASSAULT SERVICES AND PROMOTES COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND OUTREACH SERVICES.
Outreach- provide counseling and assist survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in reclaiming their lives and community education. For the year ended June 30, 2019, 2,518 people were provided services for domestic violence, and 698 people for sexual assualt.
Emergency Services- Provide food and shelter for those affected by domestic violence.
Children Services- Provide licensed child care for children 0-5 who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
