Organizations Filed Purposes: To be a catalyst that inspires, connects and mobilizes individual people towards personal and community transformation. KCB mobilizes churches, volunteers, partner agencies and staff to provide a variety of homeless services, job development, neighborhood growth opportunities, and other asset-based programs for adults, children and families in the Greater Bellflower area.

Our Place Housing Solutions (OPHS) is a program of Kingdom Causes Bellflower (KCB) that addresses key economic challenges experienced by homeless neighbors and those at-risk of homelessness. These challenges include access to affordable housing, advocacy, and navigation. OPHS provides homeless outreach, case management, rental assistance, housing navigation assistance, transportation to appointments (i.e. housing, medical, DMV), and referrals to partner agencies. OPHS provides services to the homeless neighbors in Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Compton, Downey, Lynwood, Norwalk, and Paramount. In 2019, KCB housed 83 individuals and prevented homelessness for 65 households.

Good Soil Industries (GSI) is a landscaping social enterprise program of Kingdom Causes Bellflower (KCB) with a mission to help hard-to-hire men work their way out of poverty. GSI creates employment opportunities for disenfranchised individuals who have experienced barriers to vocational growth. The program provides transitional jobs for men with criminal records, histories of homelessness and other employment barriers. Today, the program services over 125 commercial and residential properties. In 2019, GSI provided workforce development training, mentoring, life skills development opportunities, and the dignity of earning a paycheck for 12 low-income men in the community. Since its inception, GSI has provided on-the-job-training for over 200 men.

Margaret's House is a hospitality home that provides transitional housing and support services for families with children. This program of Kingdom Causes Bellflower (KCB) provides each family with supportive assistance and a dignified, high-quality short-term living experience in return for adherence to program rules. Through 2019, Margarets House has maintained a 100% track record of moving families to permanent housing. Margarets House is a unique and effective model for housing at-risk families and remains a key program for impacting underserved populations in the community.
