Goodly Labs is currently providing this hands-on education to over fifty students/citizens per university semester, predominantly at public universities.Research Goodly provides on-ramps and participation opportunities for world classresearch projects. Goody invites members of the public and university students (atmultiple levels) to take part in and even lead large cutting-edge projects that collect and curate vast amounts of data to ask and answer questions previous generations of researchers couldnt. This research with public-service goals (for example) to detect fake news, improve police-community relations, and support public engagement with elected officials is providing citizens with tangible ways to have a positive impact on society.Technology Goodly creates collaborative technologies allowing individual volunteers in their capacities as citizens and/or students to work together to accomplish great research, find common ground, and/or define and deliberate about their priorities. All of this technology is designed to promote individual liberty and facilitate voluntaristic cooperation. And it engages people in short-duration volunteer tasks that combine together to have larger impacts.246 people donated an aggregated total of 7,504 hours. What was donated: time and effort as annotators, data scientists, subject matter experts, software engineers, and product management. Annotators are credited at $25/hr and junior data scientists at $80/hr. The total market value of donated services: $638,550
