To promote athletic excellence by enhancing the safety and competitiveness of Berkeley High School's athletic department through providing financial assistance, equipment, uniforms and needed supplies for various sports teams.
In this fiscal year, $149,000 was raised for our athletic teams and programs. We provided grants to teams for uniforms, facility improvements, transaportation and equipment that the district does not provide. We provided funding for 60 teams in 29 sports for both boys and girls.
In this fiscal year, we granted over $25,000 to Berkeley High School sports teams.
