Berkwood Hedge School operates a Kindergarten through fifth grade full-time education program that provides a hands-on developmental curriculum that promotes deep and intuitive learning. Students achieve academic excellence by becoming critical thinkers and creative problem solvers. Our teachers meet the needs of every child, inspiring a joy of learning, academic success, intellectual excitement, emotional well-being, and creativity. Students leave Berkwood Hedge prepared for success in middle school and beyond. In this reporting period we provided education services on 173 instructional days (late August 2019 through mid June 2020) for 97 students of diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Grants are awarded based on financial need and approximately 52.4% of students received grants in the reporting period.
