Organizations Filed Purposes:
As UC Berkeleys hackathon organization, Cal Hacks hosts the worlds largest collegiate hackathon, runs a fellowship program to support entrepreneurial hackers, and brings first-time coders into the world of technology just a few of our many initiatives and projects. Our mission is to empower others with technology to create solutions to better the world.
We aim to promote computer science education among undergraduate and graduate students. We organize a large event with over 2000 students every fall at UC Berkeley.
We organized a 36 hour event for over 2,000 students at California Memorial Stadium. We brought in over 25 corporate sponsors to provide mentorship and job opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students at the event. Cal Hacks covers food, apparel, and transportation for students across California as well as the United States, and oftentimes outside the United States.
