In 2016, IRP Inc. continued production on two major investigative documentaries: "Slaves Among Us" and "Who Killed Lt. Van Dorn?" -- completing trailers and video samples for each project. Inc. also embarked on a juvenile justice initiative, in partnership with Common Sense Media, that is likely to result in a documentary and at least one magazine article.Outside of production, IRP Inc. provided consulting to the World Justice Project and a well-known Mexican filmmaker on a major project on police corruption in Mexico. IRP Inc. also announced a first of its kind affiliation agreement with the University of California at Berkeley, as well as an unprecedented first look deal with Amazon Prime Video, a premium on-demand streaming service. Amazon's Unscripted and Original Movies team will have a first look at its stories, as a potential source material for docuseries and/or feature films.
