Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide services to all women and men who choose to create or expand their families through donor insemination and sperm storage. Provides education and resources on donor insemination and fertility options. To promote openness, our Donor Identity Release Program allows each child, at age eighteen, to learn the identity of his or her donor. To enhance social understanding and to inform industry practices, conducts research on the psychosocial implications of donor insemination.
Semen Sales: In 2019 we sold 1,564 vials from our program donors to assist individuals/couples in achieving pregnancy. 255 conceptions were reported in 2019 and there were 220 live births.
Health Education & Research: In 2019, 483 recipients registered with us and were provided health education related to fertility and achieving pregnancy through donor insemination. Outreach: Research on psycho-social outcomes in donor-conception conducted in 2013-2016 has resulted in two published journal articles in 2018 (in Fertility and Sterility, and Human Reproduction) and another that is currently under peer review and will likely be published in 2020 or 2021.
Cryo Program: In 2019, we provided sperm processing and storage services to Directed/Known Donors and Client Depositors who stored 51 and 121 vials respectively.
