We envision a world where all women with cancer receive medical care, education and support, enabling them to survive, thrive and advocate for the changes needed to achieve a cancer-free-society.

WCRC supports the entire continuum of cancer care, from prevention & diagnosis, through treatment, to hospice or survivorship.Services increase adherence tocancertreatments, promote healthy nutrition, & advance self-empowerment & care, which improve quality of life and treatment outcomes.WCRCofferspractical & psychosocial support services, emphasizing the latter, as accessibility to free psychosocial support is most important for marginalized groups. We offer affinity-based support groups (LBTQIA, African American, Latina, & young women), wellness groups (yoga, therapeutic art & nutrition), emergency financial aid, treatment navigation, & information/referral to community resources. Many services areunavailable elsewhere.WCRC annually serves over 2,200 people withcancer, their families, & caregivers; 70% of intensive-services clients are people of color;60% are lowincome.
