THE ASSOCIATION OF FILM COMMISSIONERS INTERNATIONAL (AFCI) IS THE PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR FILM COMMISSIONS AND AN ESSENTIAL RESOURCE FOR THE INDUSTRY AND JURISDICTIONS WITH WHOM THEY PARTNER. AFCI MEMBERS SUPPORT AND PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF FEATURE, TELEVISION, COMMERCIAL AND NEW MEDIA PRODUCTION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD FOR THE BENEFIT OF THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES.AFCI IS DEDICATED TO REPRESENTING THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS AND TO PROVIDING THEM WITH THE LATEST INFORMATION, EDUCATION, RESOURCES, AND CONNECTIONS TO OPERATE AT THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN SERVING THEIR CLIENTS AND RESPECTIVE JURISDICTIONS.THE MISSION OF THE AFCI IS TO BE ESSENTIAL TO THE ADVANCEMENT AND PROMOTION OF EXCELLENCE IN THE GLOBAL PRODUCTION OF MEDIA ON LOCATION, IN AN ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

Locations Trade Show is designed to educate and inform the Film/Video Production Industry about Film Commission, the work they do and ways they can support the Motion Picture Production process.
AFCI publications educate the Film/Video Production Industry about Filn Commissions, locations and production resources that exist within the AFCI Membership.
Participation in Film Festivals and events educate AFCI Members and the public about the Film/Video Production Industry, about Film Commission jobs and about how they can provide better services to the Industry.
