Organizations Filed Purposes: Protecting orphaned animals by inspiring people to adopt.

The Animal Protectorates dba Operation Adopt is a pet adoption center founded to answer the question of whether or not people would adopt a shelter animal rather than purchase a puppy mill puppy if the shelter animal was taken out of the shelter, groomed, socialized and made available for adoption through a pet adoption storefront in a retail area. This model of pet adoptions was founded to test the legislation enacted which prohibited the sale of commercially bred animals in pet stores (legislation which is now law in California state-wide).Animals entering Operation Adopt get a promise the second they leave the shelters. That promise is to restore their dignity. They get a name; they get medical attention; they get groomed; they have 2 meals a day of healthy food; they get walks; their litter boxes are cleaned; (Continued in Schedule O)
