Organizations Filed Purposes:
To promote the science and art of medicine, the care and well-being of patients, the protection of the public health, and the betterment of the medical profession; to cooperate with organizations of like purposes; and to unite with similar societies in the State of California as component societies of the California Medical Association.
Six to nine Educational Program Workshops are provided each year to physician members and their staff to meet the need of continual updates to the medical practice mandates regarding HIPAA, OSHA, Medical Insurance Coding, Medicare, Labor Laws, Health Information Technology, and Risk Management as it relates to patient services.
Provide education to physicians regarding availability of uncompensated care revenues.
Provide educational speakers to address medical practice compliance issues at each dinner meeting for members.
