To ensure the right of the public to access and respectfully enjoy the California Coast. To work for the completion of the California Coastal Trail and to educate the public about the coast and ocean resources.
Coastal Trail Signage, Mapping & Outreach: Coastwalk California works with over 80 local government agencies & stakeholders to map and sign the California Coastal Trail and help local governments designate it's alignment. Coastwalk also provides trail users resources including a California Coastal Trail website, maps, trail notes, and photos.Coastwalks: Coastwalk California provides several hundred members of the public with educational coastal hiking & camping adventures along the California coastline. These events are led by volunteer docents with knowledge of the coast's history, geography, ecology, and so on.Podcasts: Coastwalk California continues it's educational podcast series by producing another video production about the Coastal Trail.
