ISWV'S objective is to instill closeness to God in our community through providing an open and welcoming masjid that fosters spiritual development, promotes a comprehensive Islamic identity, strengthens communal bonds,
Providing a safe and peaceful place of worship during the holy month of Ramadan for members of our community. This includes providing daily prayers, nightly prayers, spiritual lectures and events throughout the month as well as providing 2-3 meals a week for families that attend. Approximately 150 families attended our facility during this month.
Facilitating a regular space for daily and weekly community prayers, social gatherings, youth events, spiritual lectures and community service throughout the year. This includes conducting the weekly Friday sermon and prayer at a rental facility nearby.
ISWV Sunday School Program for children ages 4-13 will focus on Islamic Studies and Quran recitation and memorization. This program will give children the opportunity to begin developing themselves and their Muslim identity through basic knowledge while creating a strong bond with the masjid and community.
