Organizations Filed Purposes: The primary purpose of Central Coast Lighthouse Keepers is to promote awareness, knowledge, and understanding of the maritime history of California's Central Coast and to restore and preserve Point Sur State Historic Park. The State Park consists of the 19th century Point Sur Light Station and the cold war era Point Sur Naval Facility.

CCLK's largest program expense was for the preservation and restoration of facilities at Point Sur State Historic Park. During the year, work continued with an engineer on a restoration plan for the lighthouse, work necessary for the repatriation of the original Fresnel lens to its former location in the lighthouse tower. Windows in the lighthouse's fog signal room were reconstructed to exact historic specifications. Restoration work on the triplex facility continued with the replacement of doors where windows were historically located. Quarried sandstone matching the original sandstone was used to replace missing stones. At the Naval Facility, volunteers completed the reconstruction of the guard house destroyed by a storm. In addition, perimeter security was enhanced and electrical work continued on the facilities. At both locations, preservation volunteers prepared the facilities for reopening after the COVID shutdown. Plexiglass screens were installed, painting was performed, story boards were installed, social distancing markings were installed, visitor centers were reorganized to meet social distancing requirements, and facilities were sanitized.

Expenses incurred to operate the park were significantly impacted by the lengthy closure of the Light Station. The Light Station was closed from January 2019 through March 2020 while the replacement of three bridges providing access to the Light Station were rebuilt. Once completed, the Light Station continued in a closed status until October 2020 due to COVID restrictions. In the summer of 2020, preservationists were allowed to prepare both facilities for an eventual reopening in October 2020. These expenditures represent items needed to operate the two facilities. Over half of these expenditures was for a portable toilet to replace one destroyed during a storm The Naval Facility incurred normal operating expenditures.

The two gift shops are an integral part of raising funds to restore and preserve Point Sur State Historic Park, to provide quality education for docents, and to offset the costs of park operations. The expenditure represents the wholesale costs of merchandise purchased for resale in Point Sur State Historic Park's two visitor centers.
