ENCOURAGE, PRESERVE AND STEWARD THE CONSERVATION OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS AND NATURAL RESOURCES FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
THIS MISSION OF ANRT IS TO WORK WITH LANDOWNERS AND CONSERVATION PARTNERS TO PRESERVE AGRICULTURAL LANDS AND NATURAL RESOURCES.
ANRT IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 1997 TO SAVE PRODUCTIVE FARMLAND IN CONTRA COSTA AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. IT EXPANDED ITS PRESERVATION AREA IN 2016 TO INCLUDE NO CALIFORNIA AND IS ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN FARMLAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES PRESERVATION BY ACQUIRING CONSERVATION EASEMENTS AND HAS AN ONGOING OBLIGATION TO STEWARD THOSE PROPERTIES ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN CONSERVED.
