Free Rain provides resources and empowering, educational programs to aid those enslaved, impoverished, and exploited. Our vision is to create options and opportunities for those rescued and oppressed in order to make positive and radical changes in our world. Our most significant activities are our vocational program in Thailand for survivors and our training programs in the US for those wanting to fight injustice.

Our Shear Love International Program is our largest program. Our program in Thailand teaches vocational skills in hairdressing to men and women exiting trafficking, prostitution and abuse. Our holistic program includes, personal development and life skills course, English language classes, counseling services, medical care, housing, food, and an education in hair design. We also have partner orgs around the world for which we provide some funding and tools.
Our Sew Free Program teaches textile art and employees survivors of trafficking and exploitation. In 2020 we employees over 20 women displaced from work due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Member Care provide mental health and living assitance services to overseas workers. In partnership with stateside and foreign counseling centers Free Rain covers the costs of counseling services for all volunteers and other partner overseas workers.
