Organizations Filed Purposes:
The clubs objective is the encouragement of organized shooting with practice of safe handling and proper use and care of firearms, to educate youth, encourage good sportsmanship, and to inspire fellowship among those who shoot trap and skeet.
The Del Norte Rod and Gun Club held four PITA registered shoots, and two Fun Shoots, in addition to its weekly shoots. It allows the Dept. of Fish and Game and to use the club house for a check station for the annual elk hunt. Searh and Rescue uses the facility for training, and members reach out and teach hunter safety courses during the year.
