Organizations Filed Purposes: Sahaya International consists of a network of friends who volunteer their time to build awareness and support of healthcare, education, environment and socio-economic development programs in developing countries through close collaboration with dedicated local grassroots organizations and other nonprofit and charitable organizations. We focus our activities on helping and empowering the most underprivileged and marginalized, such as women and children, people with disabilities, HIV/AIDS.

This includes support to 8 schools (more than 1500 students), more than 100 orphans, ongoing construction of a school/orphan center, a community water and sanitation development program, programs for people with disabilities.

India: Socio-economic development, education, health of underprivileged communities, through support of 5 grassroots organizations. This includes support to 5 schools (more than 800 children), orphan support programs (~300 children), disability programs, vocational training, organization of women self-help groups with microfinancing (~ 500 groups), screening of women for cervical cancer, mobile health clinics.

Vietnam: housing and education program in Southern Vietnam (Kien Giang rural area). Construction of simple houses for underprivileged families (~250 houses built so far), provision of tuition scholarships (~250 children/youth/college students).
