Organizations Filed Purposes: Big Up Kidz' (BUK) mission is to help the community reach for a brighter future by providing youth and families with opportunities to learn, explore and grow in a safe and structured environment The organization is guided by the vision of providing a safe, positive educational environment in which to spark a love of learning, while supporting development of the academic, social and life skills needed to achieve success in school and beyond. BUKs programs are designed to support the following primary goals: -increase students math and language skills; -improve school attendance and performance; -improve social skills; -increase interest/participation in STEAM activities; -support healthy lifestyle choices; -promote education and increase parent involvement in students education.

Big Up Kidz accomplished the following in July 2018 - June 2018 - Supplemental programs at one site (this includes winter break camp, spring break camp and Saturday field trips)-75 students served annually - Equitable Access Program: Provides transportation to the site for 150 students annually - Family Literacy Program: Famly Partnership Workshops with focus in literacy and life skills for over 50 families annually - Before School program serves 75 students annually - Afterschool program services 150 students annually - Teen Workforce Connection- high school internship Program serves 34 annually - Plug and play programs serve over 100 middle school students annually
