The Foundations mission is to support athletes in their pursuit of competitive excellence and to further the competitive experience of amateur youth gymnastics.
In executing the mission and vision of the Foundation, the compulsory and optional gymnastics team received benefits in the form of subsidies on competition costs that each gymnasts would otherwise bear. The Foundation is able to pay for team entry fees, coaches fees and expenses (airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation), and team building events from the funds raised through sponsorships, donations, and hosting a competition. In addition, coaches also benefit from the support provided by the Foundation in the form of subsidies for their professional development (training and membership renewal). There are currently 95 gymnasts and 11 coaches in the compulsory and optional teams.
