Organizations Filed Purposes:
TO PROVIDE FOR RESCUE, MEDICAL CARE AND REHAB OF UNWANTED/INJURED HORSES. IN 2016 WE COMPLETED THE CONSTRUCTION AND ORGANIZATION OF FACILITY. IN 2017 WE BEGAN THE RESCUE AND ADOPTION EFFORTS.RESCUE EFFORTS HAVE INCREASE IN 2018.
TO PROVIDE FOR RESCUE, MEDICAL CARE AND REHABILITATION OF UNWANTED AND OR INJURED HORSES.
DURING 2019, 7 HORSES, INCLUDING 2 OFF-TRACK THOROUGHBREDS WERE RESCUED AND PLACED WITH NEW FAMILIES OR FOSTERED. OF THE THOROUGHBREDS 1 IS IN TRAINING FOR HUNTER-JUMPER COMPETITION, THE OTHER IS IN REHAB FOR TRACK INJURIES. PLAN FOR 2020 IS TO EXPAND THE NUMBER OF ANIMALS TAKEN IN AND PLACED WITH NEW FAMILIES. WE HAVE ESTABLISHED A RELATIONSHIP WITH A THOROUGHBRED BREEDER TO PROVIDE THE RESCUE OF RETIRED HORSES FROM RACING WITH INJURIES. DONATIONS HAVE INCREASED WITH OUR FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND OUR REPUTATION CONTINUES TO GROW. DONATIONS OVER THE LAST QUARTER HAVE DROPPED SIGNIFICANTLY DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC. WE HOPE FOR A MORE POSITIVE RESULT IN 2021.
