Organizations Filed Purposes:
Research, develop and administer social and economic development programs to meet the needs of Indian and Native American communities and individuals residing in the State of California.
The NCIDC contracted with the California Employment Development Department to preform clean up and repairs of California public and tribal land and infrastructure damaged by storms and fires in Butte, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, Riverside, San Diego, Sonoma and Siskiyou Counties.
The NCIDC contracts with the California Department of Community Services Development to provide CSBG services to Indian people throughout the state of California. The NCIDCs current service area includes 57 counties and 109 Reservations and Rancherias.
The NCIDC provides a comprehensive range of workforce development activities to eligible clients in our four county service area of Del Norte, Humboldt, Siskiyou and Trinity Counties. The purpose of these activities is to promote increased employment, job retention, earnings, and occupational skills improvement for participants.
