Organizations Filed Purposes:
CANB serves the at-risk and in-crisis populations living in and around the Fairfield-Suisun area through information and referral services and direct human and social services so that we may help some to live more self-sufficient, independent and dignified lives.
THE CAN-B PROVIDES PERMANENT HOUSING IN THE FORM OF PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR THE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS AS WELL AS RAPID RE-HOUSING FOR THOSE ON LOW INCOMES.
The CAC provides Basic Needs like Food, Clothing and Shelter and Supportive Services such as Rental Assistance, Homeless Assistance, Holiday Baskets, Toys and Case Management. In addition we provide Information about and Referrals to other community based organizations, churches and/or government agencies that can help our clients with additional needs. Our Job Development program prepares and assists people for the workforce. Other services (although limited) are also available like transportation, motel vouchers and other emergency services.HUD Healthy Living Your Way is a permanent supportive housing program for 12 tenants all of whom are required to be chronically homeless. This is a transitional housing program which ranked as the second highest scoring project in the Solano County Review and Rank Competition for 2012-2013.*HUD LSS is also a Supportive housing program but is six chronically homeless males. This is a permanent supportive housing program which began in March of 2013.The Dixon VETS Housing program is a VA Grant and Per Diem funded program. This pogram achieved all performance measures set by the VA and CAN-B as well as passed the clinical inspection for the third year running. HUD Homeless Assistance Center is operated with Solano County Health and Human Services. This funding is for supportive services only and allows for the provision of Homeless prevention and rapid re-hosuing services, supplemental food, employment referals and jo training as well as VA fiduciary and Representative Payee services.
