ANAHEIM MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER (AMMC) IS A NOT-FOR PROFIT, TAX-EXEMPT CORPORATION. CERTAIN TANGIBLE ASSETS OF AMMC WERE SOLD AS OF JULY 1, 2009. AS A RESULT OF THE SALE, AMMC NO LONGER PROVIDES ACUTE CARE SERVICES FOR THE CORPORATION. However, because the working capital and certain other liabilities were retained in the transaction, the corporate entity of AMMC existed and operated in a run-off mode through January 2017. All remaining assets and liabilities as of January 2017 were absorbed by Memorial Health Services.
